Orthopedic seat designed to position the patient in a sitting position. The basic equipment includes: seat, back backrest, side pads, footrest with a foot platform, headrest, hip belts, vest, table and bases constituting the support of the device. The upholstery is removable and washable. The built-in “spine” together with the side pads and pelvic correction is an excellent tool for physiotherapists to position the patient. It will be used both at home and in rehabilitation centers.

The orthopedic seat is dedicated to people whose ability to sit has been temporarily or permanently lost or has not yet been developed. Indications for the use of an orthopedic seat are:

• improvement of lung ventilation and prevention of pneumonia,
• improvement of mental state,
• treatment and slowing down the progression of scoliosis in children and adolescents with lost gait function,
• building the correct sitting pattern.
