LOWER LIMB ORTHOSIS WITH POLYCENTRIC RANGE OF MOTION EVERY 20 DEGREES AND DYNAMIC CARBON FOOT

USE:

• in paresis of the lower limbs – during the period of learning to walk and verticalization of patients treated neurologically and orthopedically,
• in degenerative changes or severe knee instability combined with paresis of the foot (e.g. paralytic ischialgia, poliomyelitis, MS),
• for the prevention and treatment of knee and ankle contractures caused by degenerative changes or paresis,
• as immobilization and in rehabilitation after extensive knee joint procedures for traumatic reasons (intra-articular fractures, cruciate ligament reconstructions) and diseases (partial or total alloplasty) in people with paresis of the entire lower limb or paresis of the foot.

PRODUCT FEATURES:

• The orthosis has two separate fasteners enabling easy putting on and precise adjustment of the product to the circumference of the lower limb,
• It is equipped with VELCRO tapes and two-axis polycentric rails 2R with a rack and pinion mechanism, whose flexion and extension movement is appropriately similar to the anatomical movement of the knee joint,
• The camera pads are made of ActivDistance II material – consisting of polyurethane foam, inner terry cotton knitwear and outer polyamide knitwear with a self-adhesive function, This raw material is soft but inflexible, which makes it ideal for the construction of this type of modular devices where the flexion adjustment function in the knee joint and the function of full lock when verticalizing is very important,
• The apparatus is equipped with a dynamic suballoy case made of carbon fiber,
• Adjustment of the angle of bending and extension is adjusted by means of special rivets every 20 degrees,
• The rails are equipped with special oval lids that prevent rivets from falling out of the angle sockets and protect against unwanted adjustment of the clock by unauthorized persons,
• As a standard, the rails come in lengths; 380, 470 and 530 mm,
