The derotation apparatus immobilizes the limb and keeps the femur in the desired rotation. It can be used as round-the-clock treatment. It consists of 3 elements: an aluminum frame with a triangular base that maintains both internal and external rotation, and a delicate sponge with straps to hold the leg in the sponge.
