TLSO compression vest, is a standard compression vest, additionally equipped with a thermoplastic panel. The modeled rigid panel combines the benefits of a flexible SPIO orthosis with custom thermoplastic reinforcement.
The thermoplastic panel is modeled directly on the child, ensuring a perfect fit and maximum support for the young patient. It reaches from the tailbone, to the area between the shoulder blades.
Compression orthoses are used to provide stability and postural control in children with impaired motor functions. They are also indispensable for young patients with sensory dysfunction.
